If you are expecting a number of children at your wedding, you can arrange a room to be put to the side for a wedding creche. Our staff will arrive and turn this room into a play palace. The room is filled with appropriate toys/activities for the ages of the expected children. Parents can then drop off their children who are well looked after by our trained staff. Parents are then free to enjoy the celebration. Sometimes, parents come back to take their children out for a short period but generally the children are having too much fun and prefer to stay! We even supervise the children during the meal so that the children don't need to sit through the speeches!

Organising weddings and celebrations can be a stressful time for all. Especially where children are involved. Do we invite guest’s children or run the risk of upsetting friends and relatives? Who will look after the bride and grooms children through out the ceremony?
Do your guests have to decline your invitation because arranging childcare is difficult?
We are all aware that children can get restless when asked to be still for long periods of time. They want to be able to have freedom to move around. Not so easy when there are lots of guests mingling with expensive outfits, champagne glasses and food.
Children can get bored at weddings and can be demanding. Wouldn’t it be nice if all your guests could relax and enjoy the celebrations?

·T.V/DVD and various films to watch. PlayStation and games.
·Dressing up and role play equipment.
·Creative materials such as print stick, glitter, sequins and feathers to make a memento of the occasion.
·A specific area for the very young babies allowing them to sleep and follow their routine previously discussed with parents.
When deciding on which Crèche service to hire there are certain considerations to be aware of?
·Will there be a supervisor at all times?
·Do staff hold the relevant qualification as require by OFSTED, such as NNEB, BTEC or NVQ.
·Are staff first aid trained? Do they carry their own first aid box?
·What security measures do they have regarding the children using the crèche? Will they ask parents to sign them in and out to ensure they go with the correct person?
·Enquire as to the staff/child ratios and are these adhered to at all times?
·Will the crèche provide other services such as a babysitting service or entertainers?
·Try and use a crèche service that has been recommended by someone. You could ask your wedding co-ordinator if they use a specific one.
·Ask to see thank you letters or testimonials from previous satisfied customers.
Lastly remember children can make a wedding/event very special. To have all your family and friends there with you and all their children will make for a very memorable day. Relax and enjoy.
